ABOUT US

Gatter Gas was started by myself, an ex British Gas Technical Engineer of almost 12 years. After years of being persuaded to take on private work and watching the standards drop in my previous work environments, I decided to make sure I could continue my high standard work, with pride under my own company. My focus is safety and the customer, and here at Gatter Gas we treat every home and customer with respect. Regardless whether the job is small or large we are dedicated to making sure its delivered with a first class service and a smile. We are fully insured and fully qualified to undertake any job and get your heating and hot water systems working as best and efficiently as possible

The second problem was an intermittent one and after a hunch he had, and taking the boiler to bits, he replaced a part and it hasn’t gone wrong since!  My boiler kept losing pressure and I noticed a damp patch in the ceiling. Thankfully the two were not connected but when Mat came and removed the wet bit he found the taps from the bath upstairs had been slowly leaking. He replaced the taps and upgraded the shower for us too, a cheap part in the boiler needed replacing and he had no trouble with any of it. We had two plumbers before that who found nothing, charged us and left. We are thankful to Mat and Gatter Gas.

 I would recommend Gatter Gas to everyone. I had a new boiler installed last year before I found out about Mat at Gatter gas, but they left us with the old timer and thermostat. Mat rewired this to fit a Hive thermostat and two hive bulbs which he set up for me and even connected them to my Alexa so I can control them all with my voice. Very good service.
